Weekdays are usually not the days for me to be making complicated dishes. Oh, who am I kidding? No day is a good day for making a complicated dish. I like the idea of having protein, vegetables and carb in one pot dish. One pot to stir and wash, easy peasy. You just need to gather some … Continue Reading ››
For some people comfort food is mac and cheese, for me it is pork belly and dried pickled mustard. Eating this reminds me of when I still lived at home, when I didn't have to worry about what to make for dinner and my afternoons were filled with naps. The joys of being a kid.
I haven't … Continue Reading ››
I love eating seaweed salad. I usually order it whenever I'm eating at a Japanese restaurant or buy it ready made from grocery store. One day, my husband asked me why the store bought seaweed salad looked unnaturally green. I never really paid attention to the ingredients of the seaweed salad, sure enough there is food … Continue Reading ››

This "Asparagus Wrapped with Bacon" is very self explanatory. I'm not even sure that I can call this a recipe. It's just wrapping bunches of asparagus with bacon. You can add seasoning if you'd like, but asparagus wrapped with bacon alone will taste good by itself.
I cook everyday on weekdays. It's hard to be original when you cook that often. Sometimes, I just take the same ingredients and just make something that looks different so that my kids will not say "That again???"
My favorite thing to do with bell peppers is to stuff them. I think they're like nature's perfect … Continue Reading ››
The dinner of the day (DOTD) is just something that I make when I run out of ideas and don't feel like cooking. Meat Sauce with Kelp Noodle is one of these dinners. This is why I like to have ready made sauces handy. I can just defrost a bag of ground meat, chopped an … Continue Reading ››
